Vegan Protein is a vegan protein powder, derived only from plant sources such as pea and rice. It has a very beneficial amino acid spectrum. It supports a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle, as well as people with lactose intolerance or with intolerance to dairy products.
Both pea and rice proteins are renowned for being complete protein sources, which means they contain all nine essential amino acids and are easily digestible, but having pea protein together with rice protein is much better than having just one. Because pea protein has a low content of the amino acids cysteine and methionine, but is rich in lysine, it pairs perfectly with rice protein, which is low in lysine but rich in cysteine and methionine. Together, they provide a complete protein with an optimal amino acid profile, which is superior to any single plant protein source
