Description
Whey Isolate with 83% protein content is a whey protein powder that is rapidly absorbed after any type of physical exercise: strength training, endurance training, or bodybuilding. It is an optimal source of protein between meals at any time of day. Protein contributes to the maintenance of healthy bones, as well as to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.
It is a complete, high-quality protein containing all essential amino acids. In addition, it is easily digestible and rapidly absorbed from the intestine compared to other types of protein. Whey protein increases glycogen levels in the body; moreover, because whey protein is easy for the body to digest and utilize, it is converted very easily, naturally increasing energy levels.
DAILY PROTEIN REQUIREMENTS
It is often difficult to fully meet daily protein requirements through the regular diet. Athletes, active people, and especially older adults have increased daily protein requirements.
BUILDING AND MAINTAINING MUSCLE MASS
Increasing muscle mass requires appropriate training, a positive calorie balance, and increased protein intake (approx. 2g/kg of body weight per day), especially after training.
Whey protein is renowned worldwide for strengthening and repairing muscles. Muscle damage often occurs as the body's energy levels are depleted through daily exercise and training regimens. As a rich source of protein, whey protein helps build and repair muscles.
RECOVERY AND CONVALESCENCE
During the post-workout recovery phase and when recovering from injuries or illnesses, the body requires additional amounts of protein. Protein provides the material needed to build and renew cells and tissues in the body.
SUPPORTS HAIR, SKIN, AND NAILS
Protein plays an important role in maintaining healthy hair, skin, and nails. Protein provides the body with the amino acids it needs to produce keratin – one of the structural proteins in our skin, hair, and nails. To stimulate keratin production, an adequate amount of protein is required to support this process. Protein is also one of the building blocks of skin tissue, and adequate intake is essential for healthy skin.
