Preclinical studies have highlighted the diuretic activity of the active principles in dandelion, comparable to that of furosemide, with the added advantage that due to its high potassium salts content (4%) it compensates for losses that occur with the use of diuretics.

Dandelion is known for its diuretic, choleretic, tonic and laxative properties.

Indications:

• Microlithiasis of the kidney, renal insufficiency, urinary infections, kidney stones, renal insufficiency, oliguria, hepatic insufficiency, biliary lithiasis
• The active substances in dandelion stimulate diuresis favoring the elimination of excess water, edema and renal microcalculi
• It has an action similar to furosemide but, due to its high potassium content, prevents electrolyte losses
• In addition, it supports digestion through the stimulating effect it exerts on bile (choleretic action) and on the digestive tract (increases nutrient absorption and intestinal peristalsis)
• Increases the resistance of the urogenital system to infectious factors and speeds its recovery following infections
